A generational love for building supported by a personable approach to service.
MTN side builders is a story of two partners brought together by their love for building and providing exceptional customer service. Andrew Stokes and Cameron Vilcsak met during an attic conversion job. Andrew – the lead carpenter, and Cameron – the millworker and design consultant were working together throughout the project. Realizing they had the same passion and desire to expand into bigger projects, and most importantly realizing each other had something they were missing themselves.
Their complementary skill set on the job site as well as customer service has been synergistic since then. After a lifetime of building and 2 years of self-employment each they created MTN side builders as a partnership. Since the inception of the new corporation they have been able to work on larger projects for prestigious clients including: Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge, Fairmont Pacific Rim, Craft Beer Market and 33 Acres but most importantly the friendly clients they meet in their own neighborhoods.
Their love for the outdoors and on the job problem solving gives them a specific edge when it comes to off grid and remote work. Whereas their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile has given them an edge within the lower mainland through positive relationships with suppliers and clients alike.
When you’re planning to have your dream build brought to life, you have to be certain of who you choose to do the job. With so many differing construction and contracting businesses, it can be a difficult task to select a company that not only can get the job done, but will get it done with care, communication and transparency as well. Whilst we believe our portfolio of work speaks for itself, we prefer to showcase to our clients the various principles that we stand by as a business that results in our ability to succeed.
We’ve been working in the industry for a number of years on a range of varying projects, take a look at the few of our favorites below.
